Fit To Be Groomed
After college I began working as a legal assistant but soon decided that wasn't really for me, so I went to cosmetology school and then discovered that also wasn't for me. In May 2013 I became certified to groom by Oceanview Dog and Cat Grooming School in Revere and finally found what makes me happy! I currently live here in town with my husband and our fur babies, Shelby, Tybee and Delilahhhh
Before grooming- I was working in film and television production from 2012-2020. During the pandemic, I needed a change so I applied (and was *mistakenly hired) at a corperate, big box pet store. Another canditate with the same first name was actually hired, but they sent Me an email about My new job! I showed up, they liked me and I kept the job. I became a grooming apprentice, then a certified pet stylist. The corperate machine life was not a good match after all, but the stars aligned and Fit to be Groomed found me! Now I make dogs beautiful full-time in a cozy salon that is comfortable for the dog and groomer alike.
Originally from CT, I love living in northshore MA. I have been here for the past 10 years with my boyfriend that I met working on movie sets. We adore our guinea pig, bearbear and we are avid dachshund lovers. I cherish memories of our long haired doxie, Chester Copperpot, who went to the Rainbow Bridge February 2024 at the age of 16.
